She explained that she was struggling trying to provide for herself with her current pay, the amount of bills she had, and her schooling costs.

Catherine was the only adult in her family with the ability to work because her spouse had a severe disability.

She had previously worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) for a few years, but her income was not enough to support herself. She needed training to advance in her career and find employment at a higher wage.
