American Job Center Southern Illinois
The American Job Center Southern Illinois is a one-stop comprehensive center that houses partnering agencies offering a variety of government and social services to the public, including self-service resources for job seekers and employers. The American Job Center Southern Illinois is located within our shared office space at 3117 Civic Circle Boulevard in Marion, Illinois.
Our friendly resource room staff will explain all tools and services available to help you find a job, including computers with FREE Internet access, copiers, fax machines, and more! Assistance is available for the following services:
- Getting a GED
- Improving reading, writing and/or math skills
- Returning to school for more training
- Finding a job or creating a resume
- Transportation to work or school
- Child care while at work or school
- Disability services
- Employment services for seniors
- Employment services for veterans
- Paying for food or medicine
- Paying rent or utility bills
- Finding a place to live
- Filing for unemployment insurance
- Expunging or sealing criminal records
