Career Specialist Michelle Sanchez reports on her customer. “Peighton, a single mother of an 11-month old child, had been working full time at Southern Illinois Hospital in Carbondale for nearly 4 years when she came to Man-Tra-Con for assistance. Peighton was seeking WIOA training assistance for the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program she was pursuing at Rend Lake College (RLC) in Ina, Illinois.

After experiencing a “lay-off,” Crystal finds a new career path in Health Information Technology.

Career Specialist Michelle Sanchez reports on her customer. “Crystal had been “laid-off” in April 2016, from Rush Trucking Center in Mt. Vernon, Illinois due to a plant closure. In May 2016, she began receiving dislocated worker services administered by Man-Tra-Con Corporation through WIOA funding. Crystal had only been familiar with the trucking business, after having worked in it for over 20 years.
