Man-Tra-Con Corporation hosted a retirement party honoring WIOA Program Manager Reba Utley on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Reba began her employment at Man-Tra-Con in 2005 as a Career Specialist, serving Youth, Adult & Dislocated workers seeking employment and/or training assistance. In addition, Reba went above and beyond during critical moments in our region’s workforce history, supporting customers during the Maytag closures, assisting with disaster relief efforts in Harrisburg, and training countless new staff members with patience and care. After several years, she was promoted to Assessment Enrollment & Monitoring Administrator, and most recently WIOA Program Manager.
“For 20 years, Reba has been a steady presence at Man-Tra-Con, the calm voice, the dependable hand, and the person everyone could turn to. She has been there through many seasons of change in our organization, always giving her best and helping others do the same. While it is hard to imagine Man-Tra-Con without her, we are so happy for her next chapter and all the joy it will bring,” Man-Tra-Con Interim CEO Stephanie Robinson says.
Reba was joined by her husband, children, and extended family members as Man-Tra-Con staff, friends, former Man-Tra-Con employees, Southern Illinois Workforce Development Board (SIWDB) and Man-Tra-Con Corporate Board members wished her much success on her new path in life.
Reba will be remembered for her compassion, humility, and dedicated service to our customers and the community. Her kind heart and smiling face will most certainly be missed here at Man-Tra-Con. We wish Reba the best on the next steps of her exciting journey, where she will be joining family in Nashville, Tennessee.
