The Man-Tra-Con Corporation Board of Directors is proud to announce the appointment of Stephanie Robinson as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Man-Tra-Con Corporation.

In her new official position, Robinson will lead the organization’s strategic direction, operations, and partnerships as Man-Tra-Con continues its mission to provide workforce development services to students, job seekers, and employers, with the goal of building a skilled regional workforce across Southern Illinois.

“I think I can speak for the full board in saying that we have great confidence in Stephanie’s ability to provide the servant leadership needed to deliver the highest quality of assistance to our customers,” said Rex Duncan, president of the Man-Tra-Con Board of Directors. “She brings to the CEO role 18 years of increasing responsibility in the organization. Stephanie is smart, is a very capable leader, knows of the dynamics of the grant programs we manage, and, just as importantly, feels a deep sense of compassion and care for Man-Tra-Con’s customers.”

Ms. Robinson has had a long and successful history at Man-Tra-Con since joining the organization in 2007. Over the past 18 years, she has advanced through multiple roles, including Career Specialist, Enrollment and Monitoring Specialist, Performance and Monitoring Coordinator, and Compliance and Performance Manager, before serving as Interim CEO beginning in February 2025.

As Interim CEO, she has played a pivotal role in expanding partnerships, developing innovative workforce strategies, and enhancing service delivery for job seekers and employers throughout the region.

“Stephanie’s years of experience in varied roles, her demonstrated leadership skills, and her passion for workforce development in the region gave the board confidence in her service going forward. The continuity she brings to Man-Tra-Con will be vital in the months and years ahead as new opportunities arise and more Southern Illinoisans are served,” said Terance Henry member of the Man-Tra-Con Board of Directors, and chair of the Southern Illinois Workforce Development Board.

As CEO, Robinson will oversee all aspects of Man-Tra-Con’s operations and strategy, ensuring continued excellence in workforce development services and community engagement.

“It is truly a privilege and an honor to serve as Man-Tra-Con’s CEO,” said Robinson. “This organization has been my professional home for nearly two decades, and I have seen firsthand how dedicated our team is to changing lives. I am grateful for the opportunity to build on that legacy, continuing to foster innovation, strengthen partnerships, and create real, viable opportunities for the people of southern Illinois.”
