Lizbeth knew that she wanted a career in healthcare, but was trying to find the right path. She decided to go with the Certified Clinical Medical Assistant AP program at Shawnee Health and enrolled in September 2024.
Kimberly was a stay-at-home mom with three children when she learned about the apprenticeship program. “It looked like a great opportunity… so I was very excited to start this journey,” Kimberly says.
Silvia had been working as an online shopper at Wal-Mart for over 4 years when she learned about the apprenticeship program. While studying in the program, she was able to get hands-on practice working alongside experienced medical professionals at Shawnee Health.
Steven came to Man-Tra-Con seeking CDL training assistance. Through WIOA grant funding, he was eligible to receive financial assistance for tuition, transportation costs, and other expenses related to his CDL training.
