Emily Perks
On July 17, 2026, Man-Tra-Con CEO Stephanie Robinson presented Employer Services & Special Grants Director with an Impact Through Service Award for June 2026.
“Emily joined the Man-Tra-Con team in 2020 and accepted the role of Employer Services Manager in 2022. In 2025, she was promoted to Employer Services and Special Grants Director. Since joining our team, Emily has played an instrumental role in growing our Employer Services Department and expanding Man-Tra-Con’s partnerships throughout southern Illinois. Whether she is planning the Annual Workforce Summit, working with employers, managing apprenticeship initiatives, or leading special grant projects, Emily approaches everything she does with professionalism, dedication, and a strong commitment to our mission,” Man-Tra-Con CEO Stephanie Robinson says.
“One of Emily’s greatest strengths is her ability to build relationships. There is rarely a meeting I attend where someone doesn’t mention working with Emily or her team and share positive feedback about the experience. She has earned the trust and respect of employers by listening to their needs, following through on her commitments, and helping connect businesses with workforce solutions that make a difference. Those relationships continue to create opportunities for our customers while strengthening the workforce throughout southern Illinois,” Stephanie explains.
“Emily’s impact doesn’t stop with the work she does outside our organization. She is also the driving force behind many of the activities that bring our staff together, from potlucks and chili cook-off competitions to celebrations that strengthen our workplace culture. She understands that a great organization is built by investing in its people and is always willing to step up to make Man-Tra-Con a place where employees feel valued and connected,” Stephanie adds.
“The dedication Emily brings to her work is reflected not only in the relationships she has built but also in the recognition Man-Tra-Con has received. This summer, our organization was named a finalist for the Illinois Manufacturing Association’s Workforce Excellence Award. That recognition is a direct reflection of the outstanding work Emily and her team do every day to support employers and advance workforce development across our region,” Stephanie says.
“Emily’s leadership, work ethic, and commitment to serving others make a lasting impact on Man-Tra-Con, our partners, and the communities we serve. We are fortunate to have her on our team, and this recognition is well deserved,” Stephanie adds.
“Congratulations, Emily! Thank you for your dedication, leadership, and commitment to strengthening our team, our partners, and the communities we serve. You are truly appreciated,” Stephanie says.
