Our very own apprenticeship participant, Zoe Pierce, was recently selected to be an Illinois Apprentice Ambassador by the Illinois Workforce Innovation Board and Apprenticeship Illinois Committee. Apprentice Ambassadors serve as champions for Apprenticeship programs by sharing their success stories and promoting Apprenticeships to career seekers and employers.
The Apprenticeship Program helped Zoe develop skills “on-the-job” while earning a degree in Construction Management. While employed at Zeller Construction through the Construction Craft Laborer Apprenticeship program, Zoe was able to develop a wide range of skills and competencies. After she completed the program, Zeller Construction offered Zoe a full-time Project Manager position where she currently oversees Procore.
Zoe graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Construction Management in December 2022, while serving in the Honor Society and president of the Construction Management Club. She is currently working toward her Bachelor’s Degree and continuing her employment at Zeller Construction.
