Man-Tra-Con staff attended and participated in the 4th Annual Economic Development Day event sponsored by Southern Illinois Now (SI NOW). The event was held at the Thrill House Family Entertainment & Event Center in Marion, Illinois, on July 23, 2026.
Man-Tra-Con CEO Stephanie Robinson discussed workforce & economic development issues in “The Future of Economic Development: The Real Truth” lightning round panel discussion. Employer Services Coordinator Abby Russell presented during “The Workforce Equation: Challenges, Gaps & Game Changing Opportunities” break-out session.
Economic development professionals, regional stakeholders, community leaders, educators, business owners, and utility providers attended the event. Participants were able to learn about and discuss emerging projects and initiatives currently under development for continued growth and economic prosperity within Southern Illinois.
