The luncheon event sponsored by Illinois Manufacturers’ Association (IMA) and Illinois Manufacturing Excellence Center (IMEC) was held at the Westin Chicago Hotel in Lombard on June 25th. The Manufacturing Hall of Fame, established in 2024, recognizes the people, products and companies that have made a long-standing impact on the state’s manufacturing industry.
Additional individuals and organizations from Southern Illinois were nominated at the event:
- Chris Sink, Rend Lake College — Teacher of the Year Award
- Don Welge, Gilster-Mary Lee Corp. — Inducted into the Manufacturing Hall of Fame
- Dyno Nobel — Safety Champion Award
- Prysmian North America — Community Impact Award
